- Graf-Ted started with an architectural painting, inspired by the thesis of a friend and a loved underpass in Baltimore. Samir was asking how street art could assimilate new buildings into existing streetscapes. The series developed with my second painting, inspired by a family reunion in Hawaii. The painting followed a similar ethos and launched a style I’d use for many years.
